    Of all courts Grass Court is the fastest type wherein the grass is grown on hard packed soil. Generally these courts have low bounce, due to fast pace and low bounce compared to hard court and clay court this court is suited to people with serve and volley game with short rallies. This court has high maintenance costs, court needs regular mowing, weeding and maintaining the grass healthy.

    Clay court has slow surface with more grab and high kicking bounce. Surface is made of crushed shale, brick and brick dust with balanced water content maintained throughout. This court is suited for Baseline Players who rely on long rallies and test the opponents endurance and fitness levels.

    Hard Courts are asphalt surfaced courts and are mid paced between clay and grass courts. US Open and Australian Open are played on Hard Courts.
